Sunday, Sept. 17  Parish Picnic weather permitting on church grounds. We are asking the men of the church to help with setting up chairs and tables outside for this event.

Sunday, Sept. 24 Annual Parish Meeting---It is very important for all parishioners and those people who are not official members, but attend services regularly, to make an effort to attend this meeting. People are needed to serve on the Church council. It is important for able members of the parish to serve on the administrative board of the Church or at least volunteer to assist the members of the board.  Learn what it takes to keep the Church functioning well.  Everyone’s input into matters concerning our Church is welcomed. Please see Barbara Driscoll if you are interested.

Oct. 27, 28, and 29 Troika Fair----This is the most important fundraiser. Much depends on the success of this event. Everyone in the Parish should help in some way to make this a success.

Dec. 25 Christmas Concert under the direction of Irina Lvovsky after coffee hour.

Church Council President’s Memo

This summer, we have had a very difficult time financially covering the usual expenses of our Church. We had to some what dip into our savings which we try to avoid. During the summer months, attendance at services seems to decrease because of vacations and other reasons. Hopefully, upon returning to church, people will remember to include their offering for those Sundays missed. In the coming weeks we will begin to post the weekly collection and each month the total collection income and expenses will be posted in the bulletin. This will give one a better perspective on what it takes to support our church.
