 Parish Picnic

The Parish picnic held last Sunday was a success. Everyone who attended had a good time. Many thanks especially to Jerry Kushmerick and Julia Petrini and to all those who helped and provided the salads, desserts, and drinks that was enjoyed by all. The profit for the church from this event was approximately $600 in addition to the individual picnic donations.

Sunday, Sept. 24 Annual Parish Meeting---It is very important for all parishioners and also those people who are not official members, but attend services regularly, to make an honest effort to give an extra hour of one’s time to  attend this meeting.   People are needed to serve on the Church council. It is important for members of the parish to learn what it takes to keep the Church functioning well.  Everyone’s input into matters concerning our Church is welcomed.   The meeting will take place today after a short coffee break.

Oct. 27, 28, and 29 Troika Fair----This is the most important fundraiser. Much depends on the success of this event. Everyone in the Parish should help in some way to make this a success.

The raffle tickets were sent out. Please try to sell them. The 1^st prize is $300; 2^nd prize is $200; 3^rd prize is $100.

We have already gotten commitments for $300 to cover the expense of the raffle prize money. Donations for the Troika Fair are now being accepted at the desk.  A schedule of dates and times is being set up for making of the foods for the Fair. Soon it will be distributed.
