Sunday, Sept. 17  Parish Picnic weather permitting on church grounds. If inclement weather, we will serve food in the Church hall. We are asking the men of the church to help with setting up chairs and tables outside for this event.

The Church Committee will provide the hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken and all the condiments.

We are asking people to help by bringing side dishes such as tossed salad, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans or any other side dish. Please bring the side dishes to church on the day of the picnic by 10:30AM. Also water and soft drinks will be needed. We will all have a good time. Please pray for a warm, sunny day.  Thanking you all for your support of this event. Tickets $10 for adults and $5 for children over 12 will be sold at the door.

Sunday, Sept. 24 Annual Parish Meeting---It is very important for all parishioners and those people who are not official members, but attend services regularly, to make an effort to attend this meeting. People are needed to serve on the Church council. It is important for able members of the parish to serve on the administrative board of the Church or at least volunteer to assist the members of the board.  Learn what it takes to keep the Church functioning well.  Everyone’s input into matters concerning our Church is welcomed. Please see Barbara Driscoll if you are interested. The meeting will take place after a short coffee break.

Oct. 27, 28, and 29 Troika Fair----This is the most important fundraiser. Much depends on the success of this event. Everyone in the Parish should help in some way to make this a success.

Please mark the dates of these events on your calendar.
