We are in the process of updating the list of official members of the Church. To be an official member one must pay an assessment of $250 yearly per capita. If you are not in a financial position to do so, please make it known to the Council President and it will be kept confidential. The assessment can be paid monthly or any way convenient for you.
This $250 assessment helps fund our Church. It has not been raised for the last 15years.
Our Church belongs to the Orthodox Church of America. We are part of the New England Diocese. Every year each Parish in the OCA is assessed their fair share to support the OCA which includes our Diocese.
This year we are assessed approximately $12,000. A very small portion of the $250 is left to cover our church expenses after the assessment is taken out. This is why it is necessary to organize more activities to help fund our Church.
If you have any questions about the above, speak to Barbara Driscoll.
