Reminders for Proper Church Decorum
Make every effort to be on time for the Church Service especially if you plan to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
If entering the church late, please be sure not to be a distraction to others participating in the Service.
Candles should not be lighted during the Epistle and Gospel reading and Sermon.
After the Kissing of the Cross, the Prayers of Thanksgiving after Holy Communion are read. Please leave the Nave quietly if you do not wish to participate.
The Church Choir plays a very important part in the Divine Services of the Orthodox Church. The choir members here are not professionally trained singers. They sing the prayerful responses to enhance the beautiful services. God has created all of us with a voice. Everyone can sing. All people are welcomed to become a member of the Church choir.
We are fortunate to have a very skilled and devoted Director, Irina Lvovsky. Please see her if you would like to participate.
Male voices are greatly needed !!
