Please note: The Church Council is reminding everyone who lights candles on the the stands in front of the Icons to be sure the flame of the candle is not close to or directly under the wooden shelf the icon is on. Last Sunday a candle began to ignite the brace under the shelf and charred it.  Fortunately someone noticed the wood beginning to burn and quickly put the candle out. We all must be vigilant about this in order to prevent a fire in the Church. We want to avoid any tragedy from happening.

The last two icons of the third tier of the Iconostas are here and will soon be installed and then blessed.

Our Church has reached its 105^th Anniversary this year.  On Sunday, September 9^th we will have a Molieben right after Divine Liturgy and Father will bless  the entire Iconostas.  A special coffee hour for all will be held downstairs.  Mark your calendar now. A full church of people giving thanks to Our Lord for the successful completion of the Iconostas would be very appropriate.
