Financial Support for the Church
Last Sunday, 10/4 Collection offerings and donations this day amounted to only approximately $500.00. This is definitely way less than is needed.
It is of great importance for all parishioners to continue supporting St. Mary’s Orthodox Church by sending their offerings and donations in a timely manner so that the monthly expenditures can be paid.
Please send your offerings to the Rectory address listed at the top of the bulletin or by way of Pay Pal.
Our Church by the State and CCD Covid 19 regulations allow 37 people to participate in a Religious Service.
The Church is cleaned after every Service with the recommended sanitizing cleaners. All CCD regulations are strictly enforced.
The regulations are posted in and on the outside of the entry door.
By following these regulations, we are protecting ourselves and everyone else who is present.
Fundraising for the Church
The Church Council is working on SAFE WAYS to make money for our Church and still remain compliant to the CCD and State Covid - 19 regulations.
Usually at the end of October, we hold the Troika Fair which is our most profitable and relied upon fundraiser of the year. Although we cannot hold this Troika Fair in the same way as in the past years, a group of women from the Church will prepare the Russian and Georgian foods and baked goods indicated on the TROIKA FAIR PRE-ORDER FORM including the pick up days and other information.
All monetary donations towards defraing Troika Fair expences will be matched by an anonimous donor.
However, please note that if enough request forms are not received by October 15th to warrant a reasonable net profit for our Church, this event will be cancelled.
Pre-Order Forms are available at the desk in the Vestibule.
